Manufacturing

Every TibetanSerenity piece is handcrafted in Tibet by local artisans using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Materials — including Tibetan silver, turquoise, agate, nanhong, and sacred woods — are sourced from the Tibetan plateau region.

Before shipping, each item is sent to a Tibetan Buddhist temple for a consecration ceremony, a practice central to Tibetan spiritual tradition. This is why our processing time is longer than typical online orders — it is part of what makes each piece what it is.

Two rows of pavé-set stones climb each shoulder of this ring like armor plating, and between them sits the reason the piece exists: a one-eyed agate bead, weathered to soft cream and umber, held in a brushed gold bezel.

A single eye is the rarest count in traditional dzi grading, and in many Himalayan communities it is read as concentrated luck rather than a lack of it. Whether you accept that reading or simply like the graphic punch of one dark iris on pale stone, this bead is the kind you stop polishing and start protecting.

Kui dragon scrollwork, an archaic Chinese motif that traveled well across the plateau trade routes, is cut into both sides of the band. Beneath the bezel the gallery is pierced filigree, so skin can breathe.

  • Face: approx. 10.5 × 9 mm aged agate eye bead
  • Setting: S925 sterling silver, gilt bezel, pavé shoulders
  • Band: closed, non-adjustable; message us and we will measure the circumference for you before you order
  • Surface weathering varies bead to bead; the photos show the exact piece
