Manufacturing

Every TibetanSerenity piece is handcrafted in Tibet by local artisans using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Materials — including Tibetan silver, turquoise, agate, nanhong, and sacred woods — are sourced from the Tibetan plateau region.

Before shipping, each item is sent to a Tibetan Buddhist temple for a consecration ceremony, a practice central to Tibetan spiritual tradition. This is why our processing time is longer than typical online orders — it is part of what makes each piece what it is.

Dzi beads — གཟི (gzi) in Tibetan — are the most storied objects in Himalayan jewelry: agate beads whose origins no one can fully account for, said to have fallen from the sky. Among them, the one-eyed dzi is read as a bead of focus — a single point of attention, held without wavering.

This ring sets a one-eyed dzi into a hand-carved S925 silver band. The bead sits in a gold-rimmed bezel edged with beadwork; on each shoulder, a gold vajra — རྡོ་རྗེ (rdo rje), the Tibetan symbol of indestructible clarity — stands raised against oxidized scrollwork cut by hand.

The pairing is deliberate. The eye watches; the vajra cuts through. Worn together, they make this a protection piece in the oldest sense — not ornament, but instrument.

  • Band: handmade S925 sterling silver, hand-carved scrollwork, oxidized finish
  • Center: one-eyed agate dzi bead, gold-rimmed bezel setting
  • Accents: gold vajra on each shoulder
  • Each ring is assembled by hand — carving and patina vary slightly piece to piece
